Ambulances seen during celebrations of the 107th anniversary of the founding of the First Company on August 3-5, 1914 in Krakow by Józef Piłsudski. The First Company (around 150 soldiers) marched from Krakow to Michalowice on 6 August 1914 overthrowing Russian border posts. After taking the town of Kielce and an unsuccessful attempt to break through to Warsaw in order to provoke an uprising, the First Company returned to Krakow, becomiCng the nucleus of the Polish Legions.
