Preparation For Upcoming Independence Day
The national flags are seen hanging in a workshop to dry after printing. A worker is printing the Ashoka Chakra on a silk screen board on the flags. The flag makers in the outskirts of Kolkata are very busy during the last time preparation of making the national flags required for the celebration of the Indian Independence Day on 15th of August 2021. Due to the recent pandemic situation the educational institutions are completely closed which affected this business a bit. Material supplies are still running low as the the country witnessed a very recent lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus. 12th August 2021, Kolkata, West Bengal, India (Photo by Sukhomoy Sen/NurPhoto)
