Tourism In Greece - Halkidiki

Daily life at the beach with tourists, mainly from the Balkans and locals enjoying the sun, the sea, the beach at Nea Iraklia or Paralia Irakleia in Halkidiki area. The sandy beach with the transparent crystal clear sea water has many beach bars, offering umbrellas and sunbeds, shadow and cold beverages while beachgoers are seen swimming, sunbathing, relaxing, enjoying the sea. People enjoy the water at the shore, as one of the last weekends of the summer season. Greece is heavily relied on the tourism sector, an industry that the Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic had a dramatic effect on. The beach is close to Thessaloniki city and attracts lot of people during the weekends. Irakleia, Chalkidiki on August 29, 2021 (Photo by Nicolas Economou/NurPhoto)
