About the biodiversity, this region is famous and of worldwide ornithological importance, as considerable populations of rare birds stop, nest or overwinter here while 299 species of birds have been documented. As about Flore and Fauna more than 370 species of plants have been founds, 27 species of amphibians and snakes, 50 mammals, 50 fishes and 65 of invertebrates and insects.
