Heavy Rainfall In West Bengal
Many parts of West Bengal including the capital city of Kolkata, witnessed very heavy rains over the weekend. Over the last 24 hours Kolkata’s weather station registered above 100 mm rainfall due to deep depression which caused heavy rains across South Bengal. The cyclonic circulation is likely to move westward toward boundary Jharkhand and Odisha on Tuesday. The IMD has kept the subdivisions of Bengal under a ‘yellow alert’.
