Bulgaria Mass Breast Feeding

Tens of mothers gathered at the Marine garden in the city of Varna, some 430 km to the east of the Bulgarian capital Sofia, Friday, July 31 in order the set up a record for mass breast feeding in open air. The event is a part of so called World Breastfeeding Week (WBW) which is held worldwide between 1 to 7 August. This year's WBW slogan and theme is BREASTFEEDING AND WORK: LET'S MAKE IT WORK! The theme asserts the importance of increasing and sustaining the protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding - in the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) countdown, and beyond.
