Cyber Activist Ola Bini

Ola Bini is a cyber activist who has been based in Ecuador since 2013. She faced legal problems when accused of terrorism and having ties to Julian Assange, the latter requested by the US authorities. In 2019 the Minister of Government of Ecuador Jan then accused him without proof of wanting to infiltrate the computer system of the government of Lenin Moreno at that time. Bini, who has been without a judicial response for two years, confides in us that he has maintained a certain harassment from the Ecuadorian police and that his fiscal status is still uncertain. On May 10, 2021 in Quito, Ecuador. (Photo by Rafael Rodriguez/NurPhoto)
