METETI, Aug. 6, 2015 () -- Illegal immigrants rest at a shelter in Meteti town, Darien province, Panama, on Aug. 5, 2015. So far in 2015, 11,418 immigrants have entered to Panama crossing by land illegally through the jungle of Darien, compared to the 8,380 of the same date in 2014. The immigrants mainly from nepal, Senegal, Somalia and Cuba, seek to be accepted as refugees in any country of America, according to information of the National Borders Service (SENAFRONT, for its acronym in Spanish) of Panama.
