COP26: March In Toulouse For The Climate
A man carries a cardboard reading 'Anthropocene the last cene' .More than 3500 people demonstrated in Toulouse for the climate as in many cities across France and across the world. Theses demonstrations were organized as the COP26 has begun in Glasgow (Scotland) to put a maximun pressure on politicians, industries and compagnies. The IPCC paints an unlivable planet if greenhouse emissions continue unabated. The IEA says that fossil fuels must stay in the ground from now (no new mining and drilling). The G20 said in a communique that '"We commit to tackle the existential challenge of climate change' but stayed short of mandatory actions to tackle climate change. Toulouse. France.
