Coal Miners Protest In Warsaw
Miners protest against the closing of coal mines in Warsaw, Poland on 06 November, 2021. Right-wing MP Janusz Kowalski earlier said closing cola mines would increase energy prices adding that the mines do not produce CO2 and that therefore there is no reason to close them. Poland is largely dependent on coal mining for its energy needs has been a loggerheads with the EU and neighbouring countries of the burning of fossil fuels.
