NGO Holds Press Conference On Poland Belarus Migrants Situation

Media are seen gathered at a press conference in a wooded area near Kuznica, Poland on 12 November, 2021. In a location close to the Kuznica border crossing activists held a press conference for media on the situation regarding migrants crossing the border from Belarus. This week hundreds of migrants, mainly from the Middle East have been amassed near the border with Poland in Belarus. The Lukashenko regime has been accused by Poland and the EU of using migrants as a tool to pressure them into relieving sanctions put in place after the sham presidential elections. With decreasing temperatures the issue has becom more pressing as migrants crossing the border often end up in dire situations in the wilderness, suffering from malnutrition, the climate and even wounds from Belarusian forces.
