180+ voting rights activists arrested at White House

Detroit City Council member Mary Sheffield speaks while await arrest during civil disobedience action at the White House. Several hundred people traveled from around the country to participate in the rally, and more than 180 demonstrators were arrested. Protesters are demanding that the Biden Administration take the lead on voting rights and pressure Congress to pass legislation protecting the right to vote.
