Seoul Mayor Tests First Utilized Autonomous Car
Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon address a speech during the "First Commercialized of the Autonomous Vehicle Transportation Declaration Ceremony" held at Sangam S-Plex Center on November 29, 2021 in Seoul, South Korea. Oh, the first passenger, boarded the self-driving vehicle and drived about 2.9km from the S-Plex Center to the Korean music broadcasting. Autonomous vehicles will be available at DMC Station, apartment complex and office area starting on the November 30, and passengers can call their vehicles with smartphone apps and board them.The Seoul Metropolitan Government will operate an autonomous vehicle free of charge for a month and then switch to paid transportation for a fee in January next year.
