Animal India

A tobacco caterpillar (Spodoptera litura), a serious polyphagous pest in Asia, Oceania, and the Indian subcontinent, is eating cauliflower (Brassica oleracea) vegetable white parts and green leaves at Teahtta, West Bengal; India on 29/11/2021. The moth's effects are quite disastrous, destroying economically important agricultural crops and decreasing yield in some plants completely. A study said Insects consumption will increase to 15 to 20 percent of the globe's food if climate change isn't stopped. (Photo by Soumyabrata Roy/NurPhoto)
