Christmas Lights In Bari

Faithfuls enter the Basilica of San Nicola di Bari to visit the statue of San Nicola, reflected from the glass of the entrance door of the Basilica on December 9, 2021. Despite the pandemic, the Municipality of Bari, in compliance with Covid regulations, has proposed a rich calendar of events to celebrate the arrival of Christmas and support commercial activities throughout the city. As a tradition, it began on 6 December with the lighting of the Christmas tree in Piazza del Ferrarese. A few steps away the usual Christmas Wood set up by Amgas. The main shopping streets of the city, including via Sparano, via Argiro and via Manzoni, were illuminated with an aerial carpet of lights, as well as the lights in the most important streets and squares of the city halls.
