Rally to release Hassan Khayzarane
Around 500 people gathered at Möllevångstorget, Sweden, on Sunday afternoon, 31th August 2015 to boost the Swedish government when it comes Hassan Khayzarane waiting on spying charges in Israel. - Swedish Embassy has only been on one of six detention hearings, claiming organizer Leyla Yalcin. The 55-year-old Hassan Khayzarane is accused of spying for Hezbollah, and was arrested at Ben Gurion airport when he landed with the family on 21 July. Behind the demonstration, which began at Möllevångstorget and ended at Stortorget, is 24-year-old Leyla Yalcin who are committed to the 55-year-old case and got to know his family. - A man is entitled to his freedom. Sweden has not acted despite being a Swedish citizen, is being held, and despite having had the chance to do something. On October 6 expected Israeli court to try the charges against Hassan Khayzarane. The allegations are that he had several meetings with Hezbollah in Lebanon in 2012 and 2013. Is also accused of leaving pictures of Israeli army bases to Hezbollah, whose military wing is terror-stamped by the EU. - It is not often lawsuits goes right in Israel, but the demonstration is not about Israeli and Palestinian politics, but about Sweden's actions.
