Mikro Papingo Traditional Stone Village In Greece

View of the beautiful picturesque traditional Greek village Mikro Papigo translated as Little Papingo, with the famous stone building architecture of the house, roads and church in high altitude under the Astraka Towers mountain peak in Zagori area, near the Vikos Canyon in Epirus during the fall. The village is in Vikos–Aoös National Park that is part of the Natura 2000 ecological network and a UNESCO Geopark making it a travel destination for tourists. People visit the village to enjoy activities including rafting, canoe-kayaking, hiking and mountain biking, the gastronomy of the area and the traditional architecture with many awarded hotels and guesthouses.
