Riots started breaking out and police fire tear gas and water cannon as the protest turned violent. People take part in a demonstration against health measures in Brussels like the COVID Health Pass, the QR code, facemasks and the mandatory vaccination, using as a main slogan and on banners the word liberte translated as freedom. Authorities estimated that around 50,000 people from all over Europe, including antivaccers marched through the Belgian capital against the anti ccoronavirus pandemic measures.
