Petition for Turkish authorities against detainment of Dutch journalist.

THE HAGUE - The Dutch organisation for journalists NVJ on 10 september 2015 organised a handing over of a petition at the Turkish embassy. The police asked several Turkish or Kurdish supporters wishing to walk along with the group of journalists to not join. The petition is in support of Dutch journalist Frederike Geerdink who was arrested and incarcerated for several days after returning from reporting in the southern Turkey where people were protesting against fighting between Turkish forces and the PKK.
