Police Mobilisation At A School In Mexico City After A Student Was Accidentally Shot After Handling A Gun

Staff at the Escuela Secundaria Diurna República de Chile No. 79, located in the Iztapalapa district of Mexico City, took the temperature of students from the afternoon shift, where a student from the morning shift was accidentally shot after handling a gun inside the school. Emergency personnel and police were on the scene to attend to the injured minor and to reinforce security in the area, the operation was carried out discreetly so as not to alarm more people.
