GOES_T Satellite Launch
Captured with an infrared converted camera, the GOES-T satellite lifts off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida USA. The GOES-T is the third of the "GOES-R Series" satellites. This is the current generation of weather satellites operated by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) is built by Lockheed Martin in Littleton, Colorado, USA. and will have an expected useful life of 15 years.
