Poland Takes In More Than 1 Million Refugees From Ukraine

A young boy with tears in his eyes is seen being held by his mother at the Warsaw East railway sation in Warsaw, Poland on 08 March, 2022. Poland has taken in some 1.2 million refugees from Ukraine since the start of the invasion by Russia. Many railway sations in Poland are filled with refugees waiting for their onward journay to family and acquaintances.
