Toulouse: 'Friday For Future' Called By Youth For Climate

A young woman holds a placard reading 'To the trees, citizens', it's a play on word with the Marseillaise, the french anthem wich begins by 'To the arms, citizens'. Following the call of Greta Thunberg for a World School Strike and 'Fridays for future', school students and students took to the streets of Toulouse to denounce the governments inaction towards the climate crisis even after the 6th IPCC assement report. The window to keep the temperature under +1.5°C is rapidly closing as precised in the IPCC report. They also denounce the lack of action against the environment crisis. Demonstrations were planned in more than 3,100 locations all over the world. Toulouse. France. March 25th 2022. (Photo by Alain Pitton/NurPhoto)
