Polish Civilians Provide Humanitarian Help For Civilians
A Ukrainian woman, Olga Oszal from Abdar travel agency in Krakow, Poland makes the list of refugees the agency picked up from Lviv, Ukraine as they depart the city for Poland as more than two million people have already fled Ukraine for Poland, April 5, 2022. As the Russian Federation invaded Ukraine, the conflict is expected to force up to 5 million Ukrainians to flee the country. Many of the refugees seek asylum in Poland. Most charitable help in Poland is provided by individuals, NGOs and businesses. Abdar travel agency is a business run by mixed marriage - Ukrainian Olga and Polish Maciej Oszal. Since the beginning of the conflict the couple drives a coach to Lviv to deliver humanitarian aid goods and to bring refugees from the western Ukrainian city. (Photo by Dominika Zarzycka/NurPhoto)
