Since the Russian Federation invaded Ukraine, the conflict forced over 10 million people to flee their homes, both internally and externally. Many Polish NGOs and individuals provide help for the displaced. Abdar travel agency is a business run by mixed marriage - Ukrainian Olga and Polish Maciej Oszal.  Since the beginning of the conflict the couple engaged in delivering humanitarian help.
