Ukrainians Attend Orthodox Good Friday Service In Ukraine
Ukrainian faithful attend Good Friday service in Greek-Catholic church in Nadyby, Lviv Oblast, Ukraine on April 22, 2022. As the Russian Federation invaded Ukraine nearly two months ago, the conflict forced more than 10 million Ukrainians to flee the war zones, both internally and externally. Lviv Oblast hosts many of the internal refugees. Nadyby village and its Greek Orthodox church became a shelter for dozens of refugees from Kharkiv, Donesk and Zaporizhzhia Oblast. As Ukrainian faithful gather for orthodox Easter celebrations, local Christians and the refugees celebrate Easter together. (Photo by Dominika Zarzycka/NurPhoto)
