The Mayor Antonio De Caro greets the public during the Procession of San Nicola in Bari at the Swabian Castle on May 7, 2022. The three days dedicated to the Feast of St. Nicholas began yesterday in Bari, which returns after a 2-year stop due to the prohibition phase linked to the Covid pandemic. It started with the usual historical parade directed by Nicola Valenzano which this year returned in its entirety, parading through the streets of the city center and concluding its journey in front of the Basilica of San Nicola in Bari Vecchia.
