Animal India

According to a recent study by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), house sparrows (Passer domesticus) birds in India have shown a declining trend in recent decades. To raise awareness and protect the house sparrows, World Sparrow Day is observed every year on March 20. A male and female sparrow couple is trying to make a nest in a cable box at Tehatta, West Bengal; India on 14/05/2022. (Photo by Soumyabrata Roy/NurPhoto)
