Alberta Stands With Ukraine! Protest In Edmonton
View of the first public monument to the Holodomor, erected and dedicated in 1983 outside City Hall in Edmonton, to mark the 50th anniversary of the famine-genocide. Members of the local Ukrainian diaspora, peace activists and supporters took part in 'Alberta Stands with Ukraine!' - a protest organized by the Edmonton Branch of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress in front of Edmonton City Hall. The protest was a part of the national day of action to condemn Russia's invasion of Ukraine and genocide. On Sunday, May 15, 2022, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. (Photo by Artur Widak/NurPhoto)
