51st Anniversary Of The Halconazo In Mexico

A group from the Triqui community marches on the Calzada Mexico-Tacuba to the Zocalo of the capital to demand justice for the Corpus Thursday massacre, which is 51 years old. On 10 June 1971, just as Corpus Christi Thursday was being celebrated, students from mainly the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) took to the streets in support of the strike at the University of Nuevo León (UANL), gathering around the Normal metro station to march to the capital's Zócalo.
