Methan Mani clock tower seen from across the Padmatheertham pond near the historic Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), Kerala, India, on May 12, 2022. The Methan Mani clock was installed in 1840's and was constructed with a highly complex pulley system. The clock has a unique appearance. Above the dial is the face of a bearded man with two rams on the side of his cheeks. When the clock strikes, the rams hit against the cheeks of the man.
