Teesta River, Sevoke
Teesta River is a 414 km (257 mi) long river that originates in the Pauhunri Mountain of eastern Himalayas, and flows through the Indian states of Sikkim and West Bengal through Bangladesh and enters the Bay of Bengal. It is the fourth largest river in Bangladesh. Teesta's flood plain covers about 14% of the total cropped area of Bangladesh and provides direct livelihood opportunities to approximately 73% of its population.
