An attempt has been made to be as faithful as possible to the original tunnel with the materials from the reform of the old Tetuán tunnel, which opens again 111 years after its closure, now baptized as the Pombo Train tunnel, it is an underpass of end of the 19th century, originally railway, which connects the neighborhoods of Tetuán (city center) and El Sardinero (beach area) in Santander (Cantabria, Spain).
