Dancers during rehearsal of the work The Wall, at the Centro Nacional de las Artes in Mexico City, on the occasion of the premiere of the 5th Edition of the Festival Internacional Danzatlán, to be held in the State of Mexico from 23 July to 1 August 2022, an event in conjunction with the Secretary of Culture and Tourism of the State of Mexico and the Elisa Carrillo Cabrera Foundation. The Wall is a contemporary dance piece that, based on Yerina Anarika, director and choreographer of the work, will encourage awareness and reflection on migration issues, as well as the creation of symbolic barriers in the imaginary of the population.
