Protest Of BJP Activists Against Ongoing Corruption
Activists of India's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) hold a poster of Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal and chief of Trinamool Congress (TMC) during a demonstration in Kolkata on July 28, 2022, to protest against the ongoing corruption in the eastern Indian state of West Bengal. The agitation was prompted by the recent arrest of Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader and former education minister of West Bengal, Partha Chatterjee, by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a teacher recruitment scam.
