Aftermath Of The Wildifires In Greece

Panoramic view of the wildfires aftermath in Greece as seen from a drone with the burned forest and the ashes of the trees. After a long heatwave and dry weather the fires started and continued burning for 8 consecutive days in Dadia National Park. One of the largest ecological disasters in Greece as the virgin forest and the core of the Dadia - Lefkimi - Soufli - Evros National Park hosts for breeding and feeding endangered bird species like birds of prey and vultures. Helicopters and aircraft were assisting the fire brigades. The air vehicles were operating in addition to the ground fire fighter forces which were spread around the forest fighting the front.
