Rivers in northern Portugal remain in extreme drought. Temperatures remain high across the country, on August 14, 2022 in Silvares, Fundão, Portugal. Since the beginning of the year, it is no longer just the center and south of Portugal that are affected by drought, the territory is in a situation of extreme drought, according to the latest January bulletin from the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).
