La Paloma Celebration. Every August 15, Madrid celebrates “Fiesta de la Paloma”. Virgen de la Paloma is the Patroness of the town and her image walks the streets of the center of the city in procession. The procession is attended by Carlos Osoro, Archbishop of Madrid.
