Member of the II Caravana por el Agua Ome Atl in the Plaza Quirino Mendoza located in Santiago Tulyehualco Xochimilco, Mexico City, plays a conch shell (pre-Hispanic musical instrument) during a ritual in honour of Chalchiuhtlicue (goddess of water), to talk to local inhabitants about the importance of the project to rehabilitate the Tláhuac-Xico Lake, which consists of the sanitation and purification of water, environmental restoration through the establishment of irrigation systems, as well as the sustainable economic activation of the area without neglecting the responsible use of this vital liquid.
