A olive ridley sea turtle baby (lepidochelys olivacea) runs off the coast when it is released from the wild rescue by the BSTC (Bajulmati Sea Turle Convervation) turtle conservation center as many as 177 on the Bajulmati beach, Malang, East Java province, Indonesia, on August 20 2022. As of August 2022, the BSCT conservation group has released 517 olive ridley sea turtle and 477 turtle eggs confiscated by the illegal trade waiting to hatch. The IUCN world conservation agency has listed the olive ridley sea turtle as endangered. Due to the threat of destruction of marine habitats and illegal trade.
