Huntsman Spider

Huntsman spiders (Heteropoda venatoria) are a species of big spider in the family Sparassidae found in warm and tropical areas of Australasia, Africa, Asia, the Mediterranean Basin, and the Americas. The spiders are known by this name because of their speed and mode of hunting. It is native to the tropical regions of the world. Its common names include giant crab spider or cane spider. They use venom to immobilize prey and are known to inflict serious defensive bites on humans. Huntsman spider bites can cause nausea, headaches, vomiting, irregular pulse rate, and sometimes even heart palpitations.
