Former Member Of Parliament And Actor Ranjan Ramanayake Pardoned By The President

Ranjan Ramanayake, Former Parliament Member and actor came out of Welikada prison after being pardoned by the President in Colombo, Sri Lanka on August 26, 2022. On August 21, 2017, outside the Temple Trees, Mr. Ramanayake insulted the court. On January 12, 2021, the Supreme Court convicted him of contempt of court and sentenced him to 4 years of hard labor.
