Evicted Unaccompagnied Foreign Minors Give A Press Conference
An injured foreign minor satys in a tent given by the 'Medecins du Monde' NGO. A building occupied by unaccompagnied foreign minors was evacueted on August 26th by riot plice. More than one hundred unaccompanied foreign minors lived in this building. The Justice has said that the evacuation could take place only if there is a real solution for their housing. However, minors were evacuated whithout any housing solution and, since August 26th, they stay near the Courthouse of Toulouse on the grass. Some of them were poised to begin the school year on September 4th. They receive help from World Doctors (Medecins du Monde) and other collectives. The mayor of Toulouse said of the expulsion: 'It's a great day for the French Republic'. Unaccompanied foreign minors organized a press conference with NGOs and lawyers to explain their situation.
