UNICEF Youth Awards in Kyiv

KYIV, UKRAINE - AUGUST 30, 2022 - UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell (2nd L) presents the prize to Dariia Hryvnak, Mariia Pylypiv and Oksana Pylypiv from Rohatyn, Ivano-Frankivsk Region, who created a youth space to overcome the consequences of war in the community, during the UNICEF Youth Awards ceremony at the Maidan Nezalezhnosti metro station, Kyiv, capital of Ukraine. The Youth Awards launched by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) this year aims to recognize active young people who, with the support of UNICEF, implement important social initiatives in their communities, overcoming difficulties and showing courage.
