Mobile Bomb Shelters Are Being Built In Odesa, Amid Russia's Invasion Of Ukraine

Local reidents paint walls of a mobile bomb shelter, amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine, in Odesa, Ukraine 9 September 2022. The mobile bomb shelters are being built in Odesa as part of a project and will be set it up in parks, at bus stops, and other public places in the city. The mobile shelter walls are more than 25 cm thick, and the ceiling is about 40 cm thick and designed for 18 seats. The whole structure weighs about 70 tons and is made of solid reinforced concrete that allows protecting people from debris and cassette shells in case of shelling, according to the project leaders.
