Shortages Hit Tunisian Market
A poster that reads, dear customers, in order to serve you better, please limit your purchases of this product to two units, is displayed on the shelves of packets of rice in a supermarket in Ariana, suburb of Tunis, Tunisia, on September 9, 2022, as since several weeks shortages hit the Tunisian Market. Some foodstuffs are almost unavailable in the Tunisian shops and supermarkets. Shops are rationing goods including cooking oil, mineral water, sugar, flour, rice and milk. Some grocery shops have restricted customers to single packs of items in short supply. (Photo by Chedly Ben Ibrahim/NurPhoto)
