Traditional Batik Making In Indonesia

A woman shows batik at the Batik Semarang 16 workshop on September 30, 2022 in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. Batik is a cloth that is traditionally made using a manual wax-resist dyeing technique. Of Javanese origin, batik is made either by drawing dots and lines with a spouted tool called a canting, or by printing with a copper stamp called a cap. In October 02, 2009 UNESCO set Batik as a world heritage of non material from Indonesia. (Photo by WF Sihardian/NurPhoto)
