A Red Fox In Olympus Mountain In Greece

A red fox in the forest of Olympus mountain in Greece. Foxes are small to medium-sized, omnivorous mammals belonging to several genera of the family Canidae with the most common and widespread species of fox, the red fox Vulpes vulpes with about 47 recognized subspecies. Mount Olympus is the highest mountain in Greece with its peak Mytikas rising at 2918m above sea level. The mountain is a National Park and in Greek Mythology it was the home of the 12 Olympian ancient Greek gods. The mountain has exceptional biodiversity and rich flora and is a World Biosphere Reserve attracting thousands of visitors to admire its fauna and flora, walk in the different kind of forests or tour its slopes and climb its peaks or trek around the refuges or the mountaineering or climbing routes as the mountain has 52 peaks and deep gorges.
