Waterfalls In Mount Olympus

Autumn scenery of waterfall and ponds with crystal clear water as seen in the forest of Mount Olympus, between Dionysiou Monastery and Prionia at an altitude of 1000m. Mount Olympus is the highest mountain in Greece with its peak Mytikas rising at 2918m above sea level. The mountain is a National Park and in Greek Mythology it was the home of the 12 Olympian ancient Greek gods. The mountain has exceptional biodiversity and rich flora and is a World Biosphere Reserve attracting thousands of visitors to admire its fauna and flora, walk in the different kind of forests or tour its slopes and climb its peaks or trek around the refuges or the mountaineering or climbing routes as the mountain has 52 peaks and deep gorges.
