'Scientists Rebellion' Staged A Conference-occupation During The 'Toulouse Zero Carbone' Forum
A participant to the 'forum zero carbone' is bored during the conference occupation by scientists. Scientists Rebellion' staged a conference-occupation of the forum 'Toulouse Zero Carbone' in the townhall of Toulouse, the Capitole. The conference-occupation was about climate urgency and on the obligation to reduce drasticaaly our emissions of warming gas. This serie of conferences pitted the CEO of Total Energies sud-Ouest, LP Promotion (a developper), a deputy of the mayor of Toulouse, etc. Scientists Rebellion and ANV-COP21 denounce the presence of TotalEnergies (which owns several 'Climate bombs' as defined by the peers- revue Energy Policy) amid others. Energy Policy qualifies as 'Climate bombs', projects which will emit each one more than 1bn tons of warming gasses during their lifespan. The protesters say it's only a 'summit of greenwashing'.
